| What is your first memory of riding a bicycle? | I remember riding on the handle bars of my sister’s bike. I hated it but at 4 years old I don’t think I had much choice. |
| Why do you ride a bicycle? | I had back surgery in the Marines in ’99. My weight and less severe back pain was a problem after that. Mountain biking has enable me to have fun, find something that is as challenging as I want to make it and help keep the weight off. |
| What does Bearded Women mean to you? | A group that likes to race and have some fun. |
